This mystery is a virtual event happening in our Mystery Five-0 Facebook Group in February and March, with the reveal in April. A mystery clue will be emailed to registered quilters each week in March. The reveal patterns (yes, there are two choices for setting your blocks) will be emailed in April. Instructional videos for each clue and the reveal patterns will be posted in our Facebook group.

Quilters register to participate in Luau‬ by purchasing $50 Luau Ticket in-store or online or the Luau Kit of your choice.‬ If you want a kit, just get a kit. If you aren't sure if you want a kit or not, then buy the $50 Luau Ticket. You can always spend your ticket towards a kit later. Or if you decide to use your stash then you can spend your $50 Luau Ticket on products (fabrics, books, kits, notions, ...) or services (machine servicing or long arm quilting) from Alamosa Quilt Company.

There are two settings for Luau and they differ in size (Luau Torches is 65" by 83" and Luau Feast is 75" by 75"). Our carefully curated kits reveal ALL of‬ the fabrics we’ve chosen for Luau – no mystery here – you get‬ EXACTLY what you see. OR, if you want to dig into your stash, we will share a‬ video (late February 2026) in our Facebook Group that will help guide you with your fabric choices.

‭While the name of the quilt is Hawaiian-themed, the design of the finished‬ quilts are NOT. Choose fabrics that appeal to you, and you are sure to love‬ your finished quilt.‭
